WHETHER EXTENSIVE REBUILDING OR MINOR COMPONENT REPAIR, WE CAN DO IT!

Newly fabricated spring rigging parts. The old parts were extremely worn out and drawings provided did not remotely agree with the parts. The new parts were made based on conjecture, which was proven correct when weight was placed on the spring rigging system and the locomotive settled in.

Testing flatness of the wedge pedestal face, after weld build up. Grinding, filing and scraping of these surfaces insures a consistent bearing surface with the shoes, wedges and driving boxs.

Frame tram completed. New shoes and wedges machined and installed ready to lower frame on drivers.

Portable crank pin turning - a quick and affordable way to improve the surface finish, and quarter, of driving wheel crank pins without removing drivers.

Slide valve seat is being machined to remove corrosion pitting; after machining the seat will be lapped flat and fitted to the D-valve.
